The 100 % non-stick silicone platinum strip fits perfectly around the scratch-resistant ceramic base and makes a no-drip seal. The silicone works in harmony with the ceramic for a consistent, even baking, and no-stick separation when removing the sides of the springform after baking. To use, simply place the silicone strip onto the plate by pressing it into the groove along the rim. Next, attach the two ends of the strip by the flap and insert the pin (included) all the way into the hole to secure the no-drip seal. Then pour in your batter and cook!
